Vintage left-handed Fender guitars

Explore fine vintage lefty Fender guitars and basses from a private collection in France. Model, originality, condition and documented history guide the selection.

On this site, vintage means production through 1980 inclusive. An unspecified “1980s” date is not enough to establish 1980. Reissues, reproductions and uncertain periods are excluded from this selection.

Available pieces must be confirmed by email. Archives are historical references, not current offers, and do not establish that a piece is still held in the collection.

A Fender collection for left-handed players

Collection references include Stratocaster, Telecaster, Esquire, Jazzmaster, Jaguar, Mustang, Precision Bass and Musicmaster Bass. The instruments below are recorded as left-handed in their source listings. A photograph alone cannot establish original factory left-handed construction.

What matters in a high-end vintage guitar?

Look beyond the price and year. Compare the finish, pickups, electronics, hardware, repairs and documented history. A rare left-handed instrument does not carry an automatic value multiplier.

A period case and matching Fender case candy can complete the story, but cannot establish the guitar’s originality on their own.
